Chart: Small table decoration, Creation Point de Croix

The idea is simple: we took this delightful embroidery and placed it on a large placemat. These lace cakes are perfect for a festive snack. You can also make several placemats in different colors. Feel free to play with the openwork of the placemat by creating a small running stitch that follows the scallop. Shown here in tone-on-tone stranded cotton, you can give it extra dimension with perle cotton. Either way, it's a delightful "Charlotte for ever"!

The design was embroidered on 11-thread count linen fabric, light ecru. To be embroidered on white or light-colored fabric.

The chart is printed with symbols and colors (DMC Ref.) on 6 pages.

Design size: 58 stitches high × 147 stitches wide. Embroidered on 11-thread count linen (2 warp threads and 2 weft threads) or 5.5-stitch Aida, the embroidery measures approximately 10.74 × 27.22 cm.
