Chart: Uncle Hans's Shelf, Cross Stitch Design

Here is an embroidery that reads like a little story of Alsatian costume. Bonnets with large black bows, pretty aprons adorned with garlands of flowers, bodices laced at the front of the skirt, and delicate pinafores vary from one girl to the next. Dotted with pretzels, these little characters will add a lot of charm to the most modest shelf.

The design was embroidered on a scalloped embroidery band, with a satin stitch finish, in 11-thread cream linen (14 cm wide × 1 meter long). To be embroidered on white or light fabric.

The chart is printed with symbols and colors (DMC Ref.) on 6 pages.

Design size: 54 stitches high × 30 stitches wide. Embroidered on 11-thread linen (2 warp threads and 2 weft threads) or 5.5-point Aida, the embroidery measures approximately 6.18 × 9.81 cm.
