Like a summer afternoon spent under a flowery arbor, this creation evokes the simple pleasures of the garden and moments of relaxation shared around a beautifully set outdoor table. Between mischievous ladybugs, miniature shrubs, a gardener's watering can, and embroideries hung like freshly dried laundry, this composition overflows with freshness and good humor.
Inspired by country gardens where flowers and vegetables grow in harmony, this piece highlights delicate geometric patterns composed of embroidered diamonds and squares. Presented as small works hung on a clothesline, they create an original staging reminiscent of garden decorations and the bucolic atmosphere of sunny days.
Made in a decorated American box, this creation combines embroidery and miniature objects to form a true relief picture. The lawn, ladybugs, and potted shrub bring depth and whimsy to the whole.
The motifs were embroidered on DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric, ivory color 3865, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This creation can also be made on 12 threads/cm linen fabric or on Aida fabric 5.5 stitches/cm for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
