A simple linen tea towel can sometimes become a true decorative piece. Adorned with patterns inspired by antique dinnerware, this model elegantly reinterprets the table arts of yesteryear. Delicately drawn cutlery, glasses, egg cups, and kitchen accessories create a refined decor that evokes family buffets and the timeless charm of country houses.
The patterns, embroidered in a simple and delicate style, recall the illustrations from old dinnerware catalogs and the engravings that once adorned household linen. Combined with the tea towel's woven black stripes, they create an elegant ensemble where tradition and simplicity meet in harmony.
The model was embroidered on a 100% linen glass-drying tea towel, 12 threads/cm, in natural color, enhanced with woven black borders and checks, designed and manufactured in France. This creation can also be made on 11 threads/cm linen fabric or 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: This collection brings together several elements (cutlery, egg cups, glasses, table accessories) to be embroidered alone or combined according to the desired arrangement on the tea towel. Dimensions vary depending on the selected motifs.
The tea towel is available for sale on the website www.cesareditions.com
