Wooden crates are among those simple objects that we love to repurpose to create charming decorations. Easy to paint, assemble, and personalize, they offer an ideal base for upcycling decoration projects. Combined with delicate embroidered motifs, they transform into true decorative elements that evoke the softness of country living and the authenticity of family homes.

Designed by Véronique Enginger and Création Point de Croix, this creation celebrates the rural world through a generous composition inspired by gardens, animals, and the simple pleasures of the countryside. The carefully crafted details and harmonious colors create a fresh picture that will naturally find its place in a kitchen, a veranda, or a country house.

The pattern was embroidered on DMC 11 threads/cm white linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This luminous fabric particularly highlights the details of the motif and the many shades that make up this rural scene.

This creation can also be made on an Aida 5.5 stitches/cm fabric to obtain similar dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work. Both materials allow for an elegant result perfectly suited to a decorative project.

The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.

Pattern size: 190 stitches wide × 150 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for embroidery on 11 threads/cm linen embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on an Aida 5.5 stitches/cm fabric approximately: 34.5 × 27.3 cm.
