Lovers of antique tableware are well acquainted with the incomparable charm of Digoin-Sarreguemines earthenware. With their delicate decorations and refined floral patterns, they evoke the family tables of yesteryear and the simple elegance of traditional table arts. Inspired by the famous "Rosette" plate, this creation revives the spirit of these emblematic pieces through delicate embroidery.
Imagined by Véronique Enginger and Création Point de Croix, this composition incorporates the decorative codes of old dinner services in a spirit that is both authentic and timeless. The delicately drawn floral motifs recall the printed decorations of early 20th century earthenware and bring a touch of discreet refinement to household linen. A work that will appeal to enthusiasts of flea markets, antique tableware and charming decor.
The design was embroidered on a tea towel specially designed for embroidery. This support transforms a simple kitchen accessory into an elegant decorative piece that will naturally find its place in a country kitchen or a vintage-style interior.
This creation can also be made on a DMC 11-thread/cm linen canvas, embroidered on 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on a 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric to be framed or adapted to other decorative projects.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
