Crown, ear of wheat, country bread, baguette... bread comes in a thousand forms and remains one of the most beautiful symbols of French gastronomy. Present on every table, it accompanies everyday meals as well as special occasions and perpetuates a know-how passed down from generation to generation.
This creation celebrates the world of artisanal bread through a warm and delicious composition that evokes the bakeries of yesteryear and the irresistible smell of hot bread coming out of the oven.
Designed by Monique Bonin, this design brings together the different varieties of traditional breads in an elegant and harmonious round. Golden ears of wheat, generous loaves, crispy baguettes and country breads follow one another in a richly detailed composition that will appeal to all lovers of French cuisine and traditions.
The design was embroidered on 12-thread/cm natural linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This authentically colored fabric particularly highlights the warm shades of the breads and reinforces the rustic and friendly character of the work.
This creation can also be made on 11-thread/cm DMC linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric to obtain slightly more generous dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
