Chart: A Cross-Stitch Christmas Countdown

Among the most anticipated traditions of the year, the Advent calendar holds a very special place in children's hearts. Day after day, it builds up the impatience and magic that precede Christmas. With its adorable winter-inspired motifs, this model invites youngsters to wait until the big day by discovering a world full of sweetness, snow, and wonderful memories.

Designed with a tender and timeless spirit, this creation showcases all the charm of the winter season. The main calendar is accompanied by small hearts and pretty decorative skates that can be used to personalize the decoration or embellish the calendar itself. The coordinated fabrics, lace trims, and meticulous finishes give the whole an authentic charm reminiscent of Christmas decorations of yesteryear.

The pattern was embroidered on Murano Zweigart 32 count linen for the main calendar and on a matching gingham Murano fabric for the small decorative hearts. These fabrics particularly highlight the delicate details of the motifs while bringing a lot of softness to the whole.

This creation can also be made on 28 count DMC linen embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads or on 14 count Aida fabric to obtain slightly more generous dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work.

The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
