Chart: SAL in a Jam!, Cross Stitch Pattern

Here is your summer SAL, specially designed for you by Marie-Anne Réthoret-Mélin. We loved the little notebook that unfolds its recipe in the middle of the picture and the charm of the naive characters. Feel free to play with coordinating elements, and if your SAL takes pride of place in the kitchen, incorporate some of the motifs that will look wonderful on your napkins or tea towels. You can also repeat the bottom border to create a charming frieze on a white tablecloth. Settle down in the shade and, needle in hand, enjoy the thousand possible variations!

The design was embroidered on 7-count Aida fabric in ecru. Embroider on white or light-colored fabric.

The chart is printed with symbols and colors (DMC Ref.) on 6 pages.

Pattern size: Large motif: 98 stitches high x 168 stitches wide — Double-page notebook motif: 39 stitches high x 59 stitches wide. If you embroider on 11-count linen, over 2 warp and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5-count Aida, your embroidery will measure approximately: large motif 17.81 x 30.54 cm — notebook 7.09 x 10.72 cm.
