The pattern was stitched on DMC's 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric in ecru. This fabric allows for a delicate rendering of the landscape's many details while highlighting the typically Mediterranean color harmonies.

You can also create this design on an 11-thread/cm linen fabric, stitched over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. The resulting dimensions will be identical.
