Fleur de sel, raspberry vinegar, dulce de leche, tarragon mustard, duck confit, or fragrant spices… the treasures of our regions are brought to the table in this gourmet creation inspired by the best specialties of French terroir.
Presented as beautiful old labels, these emblematic products evoke country markets, old-fashioned grocery stores, and the authentic flavors that enrich our culinary heritage.
Designed by Monique Bonin, this work celebrates the French art of living and the pleasures of regional gastronomy. Each label is crafted like a small, charming and characterful old advertisement. Gathered on magnificent natural linen placemats, they form an elegant decorative ensemble that will naturally find its place in a kitchen or dining room.
The pattern was embroidered on 12-thread/cm tea-colored linen placemats, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. These creations can also be made on 11-thread/cm DMC linen fabric or on 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric. The motifs can be used individually to personalize dishcloths, aprons, or bread bags.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
