Early spring or late spring, watching for the appearance of these colorful glowing salmon buds is always a joyful moment. Thus, our Japanese apple tree, also called Japanese quince, announces the good weather. It lit up the hedge of my childhood garden, but what about its fruit? We never saw any. Normally in autumn the shrub is adorned with small decorative balls… very appetizing for our blackbird friends! The model was embroidered on 12-thread bronze linen fabric. To be embroidered on natural or colored fabric.
The chart is printed with symbols and colors (Ref: DMC) on 4 pages.
Pattern size: If you embroider on 11-thread linen, over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5-stitch Aida, your embroidery will measure approximately:
Flowers: 70 stitches high x 50 stitches wide: 9.09 x 12.72 cm
Branch of buds: 110 stitches high x 65 stitches wide: 11.81 x 20 cm
2 flowering branches: 75 stitches high x 110 stitches wide: 13.63 x 20 cm
Flowers with threads: 110 stitches high x 70 stitches wide: 12.72 x 20 cm
