The best childhood memories are often built around a few sheets of paper, a box of colored pencils, and a boundless imagination. Far from screens and digital distractions, creative activities allow children to express their personality while developing their artistic sense. This charming creation pays homage to the world of school and the treasures made by diligent little hands.
Designed by Véronique Enginger and Création Point de Croix, this embroidery tenderly evokes school supplies, carefully preserved drawings, and notebooks full of memories. Intended to adorn an elegant drawing pouch, it transforms a practical accessory into a unique object, as decorative as it is functional. Its delicate and timeless style will appeal to children and those nostalgic for school days alike.
The design was embroidered on DMC 11 threads/cm ivory linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This luminous fabric particularly highlights the many details of the motif and gives it an authentic look inspired by traditional works.
This creation can also be made on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric to obtain similar dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work. It can then be adapted to various creative sewing projects or children's room decoration.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
