This magnificent sampler brings together all the symbols that create the magic of the holidays in a rich, harmonious, and poetic composition. Each motif evokes a memory, a tradition, or a precious moment shared with family around Christmas.

Designed by Création Point de Croix, this creation takes the form of a large decorative sampler combining winter scenes, traditional motifs, and emblematic ornaments of the season. Inspired by old samplers that were once embroidered with patience and passion, this work is a true tribute to Christmas traditions and creations that we love to pass down from generation to generation.

The pattern was embroidered on a white 7 stitches/cm Aida fabric. This fabric offers excellent embroidery comfort while perfectly highlighting the richness of the details that make up this large work. Its regular grid facilitates the work and allows for a particularly crisp result.

This creation can also be made on a DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on a 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric to obtain a slightly larger work while maintaining all the fineness of the design.

The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.

Pattern size: 200 stitches wide × 200 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for an embroidery made on 11 threads/cm linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric: 36.4 × 36.4 cm.
