Skiers of the 1930s discovered the joys of gliding, schussing down the slopes and posing. Freestyle figures, climbing the slopes or doing a "saut de l'ange" (angel jump), the silhouettes impose their elegance against a background of pastel fabrics assembled in a patchwork.
