Chart: Red Pelargonium, also known as "geranium," Cross Stitch Creation

Choosing a summer embroidery project: the sea, the sun… and the image of a red pelargonium. My friends and I had swapped houses for the holidays. While enthusiastically discovering Munster, Colmar, and many other charming Alsatian towns under the continental heat, I enjoyed a large three-story house with about twenty windows, all beautifully decorated with window boxes filled with red geraniums… that needed watering! The design was stitched on 12-thread count ivory linen. To be embroidered on a light or white fabric.

Design size: 154 stitches high x 199 stitches wide. If you embroider on 11-thread count linen, over 2 warp and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5-stitch Aida, your embroidery will measure approximately: 28 x 36.18 cm.
