Longing for spring, and the image of an ocean of daffodils in the Berchigranges garden resurfaces within me. First, to get my hands on the folder where the sketches drawn there during my ritual visits for "Daffodils in Bloom" are stored. Vain effort, impossible to find these drawings! As a consolation, a friendly nod to Michèle Rain, with these words from Paul Claudel: "If order is the pleasure of reason, disorder is the delight of imagination."
The pattern was embroidered on 11-thread unbleached linen fabric. To be embroidered on unbleached or colored linen fabric.
The chart is printed with symbols and colors (Ref: DMC) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: 187 stitches high x 52 stitches wide. If you embroider on 11-thread linen, over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5-stitch Aida, your embroidery will measure approximately: 9.45 x 34 cm.
