Inspired by the gardens of the Petit Trianon and the timeless elegance of French formal gardens, this magnificent embroidered tablecloth brings all the refinement of the Palace of Versailles to linen. Perrette Samouiloff drew inspiration from the symmetrical lines and perfectly ordered perspectives that characterize royal gardens to create a harmonious and delicate design.
The composition unfolds like a stroll through the heart of the château's gardens, blending vegetal arabesques and nature-inspired motifs. Its soft green color, both bright and soothing, evokes the meticulously maintained lawns and verdant pathways that are the hallmark of the Versailles gardens.
The design was embroidered on a square tablecloth of 12-thread/cm natural linen, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This quality fabric perfectly highlights the finesse of the motif. This creation can also be made on 11-thread/cm linen or 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Design size: 390 × 144 stitches — approximately 70.9 × 26.2 cm on 11-thread/cm linen or 5.5 stitches/cm Aida. This repetitive motif allows for the creation of an elegant border or a central decoration depending on the chosen arrangement on the tablecloth.
