Inspired by the famous Swiss poyas, traditional paintings depicting the ascent of herds to the alpine pastures, this creation celebrates all the charm of mountain life. Cows adorned with flowers, cowbells, chalets, green pastures, and pastoral scenes make up a fresco full of authenticity that evokes the alpine landscapes and ancestral traditions of transhumance.
Reinterpreted in cross-stitch, this pattern brings a contemporary touch to this popular heritage while retaining its warm and friendly spirit. The numerous details and natural colors make it an original decorative piece that will find its place equally well in a mountain interior or in nature-inspired decor.
The model was embroidered on linen fabric worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This creation can also be made on 14-count Aida fabric for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC references) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: 220 × 140 stitches — approximately 40 × 25.5 cm on 28-count linen or 14-count Aida.
