What could be more charming than bringing a little bit of the countryside into your home? With these two delightful rustic wreaths, a gentle cow and an adorable hen take pride of place amidst floral compositions inspired by the meadows and gardens of our rural landscapes.
Surrounded by delicately embroidered wildflowers, these emblematic animals create a fresh and poetic decoration.
Designed by Marie-Anne Réthoret-Melin, these creations combine the elegance of cross-stitch with the timeless charm of the rural world. Hung in a kitchen, a conservatory, or a country house, they bring a bucolic and warm touch while highlighting the simple beauty of nature.
The designs are made on natural-colored linen cushion covers, whose authentic texture perfectly enhances the floral motifs and delicate shades of the embroidery. Their round or square shape allows for varied presentations while creating a harmonious ensemble.
These creations can also be made on 11-thread/cm DMC linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric to facilitate the embroidery work.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Design Sizes:
The cow: 128 stitches wide × 110 stitches high — approximately 23.3 × 20 cm on 11-thread/cm linen or 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric.
The hen: 166 stitches wide × 115 stitches high — approximately 30.2 × 20.9 cm on 11-thread/cm linen or 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric.
Inspired by wildflowers and the sweetness of rural life, these creations will bring a touch of nature, authenticity, and rustic elegance to your home.
