Chart: Pansies bowl, Cross Stitch Creation

Delicate and fragrant, violets elegantly grace this charming composition inspired by antique porcelain. Embroidered in shades of mauve and purple, they adorn a pretty bowl decorated with floral motifs and bring a soft, romantic, and distinctly spring-like atmosphere to the work.

Designed by Création Point de Croix, this creation combines the finesse of flowers with the delicacy of a decor inspired by antique dinnerware. The white porcelain bowl, enhanced with its bouquets of violets, stands out against an elegant background of blue floral fabric, while a few freshly picked flowers lightly complete the scene.

The pattern was embroidered on light linen fabric worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. The different stitches used help reproduce all the finesse of the decorative motifs, the transparency effects of the porcelain, and the subtle nuances of the petals.

This creation can also be made on 11-thread/cm DMC linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric to achieve similar dimensions while simplifying the embroidery work.
