Step into the enchanting world of Ma Petite Mercerie and rediscover the timeless charm of sewing and embroidery accessories. This collection celebrates the everyday objects cherished by needle enthusiasts: buttons, bobbins, ribbons, lace, scissors, and other workshop treasures are transformed into delicate embroidery motifs.
Designed to personalize and beautify your home, these patterns allow you to create pretty textile storage solutions for household linen, lingerie, or small sewing accessories. Each motif brings a refined and romantic touch, inspired by antique haberdashery essentials and the feminine world of old-fashioned workshops.
The embroideries are created on Aida fabric (4.5 stitches/cm or 10 threads in 2 cm) with Anchor stranded cotton. Cross-stitch is worked with two strands of cotton, while backstitch is executed with a single strand to delicately highlight the details of the motifs.
The collection consists of several coordinated small patterns representing haberdashery essentials: sewing machine, spools of thread, buttons, scissors, needle holders, and other iconic accessories. These motifs can be used individually or combined to create a harmonious set.
Depending on the models, dimensions vary from a few centimeters for small accessories to approximately 16 × 7.5 cm for the larger motifs, allowing for numerous decorative or practical uses.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (Anchor ref.) on 6 pages.
With its retro spirit, soft colors, and universe dedicated to textile arts, Ma Petite Mercerie will charm all embroiderers who wish to add a touch of elegance and poetry to their textile creations and interior decoration.
