In addition to its flowers representing the purity of the virgin, the lily was also consumed as a vegetable and used as a medicinal plant. This remarkable bulbous plant is easy-going, generous with its flowering, and propagates without difficulty. It has often been passed down from generation to generation, even to our grandmothers' gardens. An embroidery par excellence, it's up to you to apply it to the material of your choice! Well-known to gardeners, the crocus is a perennial bulbous plant with spring or autumn flowering depending on the species. Its solid, variegated, striped, or gradient flowers can come in different colors. In lawns, the crocus multiplies easily and naturally from one year to the next without special maintenance. This crocus will gently announce the arrival of spring with this pretty embroidery. The models were embroidered on 5.5-stitch Aida fabric and 11-thread white linen fabric. To be embroidered on white or ecru fabric.
The chart is printed with symbols and colors (Ref: DMC) on 4 pages.
Pattern size: 200 stitches high x 246 stitches wide. If you embroider on 11-thread linen, over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5-stitch Aida, your embroidery will measure approximately: 45 x 36 cm.
