Prepared with good farm milk and a generous dose of indulgence, dulce de leche is one of those traditional recipes that spans generations without ever losing its charm. Sweet, creamy, and delicately flavored, it evokes family kitchens where the most delicious preparations slowly simmered.
This embroidered creation pays elegant tribute to it through a refined composition blending ingredients, utensils, and a detailed recipe.
Designed by Marylène Verstraete, also known as Les Fanfreluches de Mary, this gourmet embroidery will appeal to both cooking enthusiasts and cross-stitch lovers. Its warm style recalls old recipe books carefully preserved in families and passed down like precious treasures. A decorative creation that will naturally find its place in a kitchen or a space dedicated to culinary delights.
The design was embroidered on a 12 threads/cm white linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This luminous fabric particularly highlights the numerous details of the motif as well as the delicate nuances that make up this gourmet scene.
This creation can also be made on a DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on a 5.5 stitches/cm Aïda fabric to obtain slightly more generous dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Design size: 163 stitches wide × 121 stitches high.
On 12 threads/cm linen embroidered over 2 threads: approximately 27.2 × 20.2 cm.
On 11 threads/cm linen or 5.5 stitches/cm Aïda fabric: approximately 29.6 × 22 cm.
Both gourmet and refined, this work celebrates traditional recipes and ancestral craftsmanship while bringing a warm, authentic, and soft touch to your interior.
