Chart: Cactus & Succulent Pillows – Cross Stitch Creation

Green power and the tropical trend have given way to the cactus phenomenon. With their graphic shapes, sculptural silhouettes, and amazing colors, cacti and succulents are now making their way into our interiors in all forms. Here, they become magnificent decorative cushions that bring an exotic, bohemian, and resolutely contemporary touch to the home.

These two complementary models allow for the creation of an original and warm decor. The first features a spectacular flowering cactus with refined details, while the second celebrates the geometric elegance of a succulent with delicate color gradients. Enough to add a vegetal touch without ever having to get out the watering can!

The pattern was embroidered on a 11-thread/cm linen fabric in color 712 from DMC, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This fabric perfectly highlights the nuances and reliefs of the different plants. You can also create these patterns on a 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric to obtain equivalent dimensions. Natural, ecru, or sand fabrics harmonize particularly well with the vegetal spirit of these creations and highlight the colors of the flowers and foliage.
