Originally rudimentary small pine huts perched on stilts, lost amidst the waters of the basin, the "tchanquées" huts of Bird Island are now celebrities visited by travelers from all over the world! If you are not lucky enough to be able to travel to discover these mythical dwellings that are now part of our heritage, embroider them and contemplate them for eternity!
