Chart: Spring by Perrette Samouiloff, Cross Stitch Creation

Perrette has her own unique way of celebrating the arrival of spring! Surrounded by smiling children, freshly bloomed flowers, and delicate lily-of-the-valley bouquets, she invites us to fully enjoy the gentle warmth of springtime. This scene, full of tenderness and freshness, evokes strolls through blooming gardens, seasonal foraging, and the simple joys that accompany the return of sunny days.

The little girls and boys laden with armfuls of lily of the valley add a touch of poetry and lightness to this luminous composition. The delicate flowers almost seem to diffuse their fragrance through the canvas, transforming this embroidery into a true tribute to nature reborn and the traditions of May.

The design was stitched on a 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric in "ficelle" (twine) color, whose soft hue particularly highlights the spring nuances and details of the motif. This creation can also be made on 11 threads/cm linen fabric for similar dimensions.
