At a wedding, christening, or elegant reception, tradition dictates that each guest leaves with a small, carefully presented souvenir. This charming pouch, embroidered with a delicate cherub, is inspired by the refined world of Versailles and festivities of yesteryear. Both romantic and timeless, it gracefully holds sugared almonds, small gifts, or precious mementos.
The floral fabrics, powder-pink grosgrain ribbon, mother-of-pearl beads, and delicately applied rickrack enrich the embroidery and give it a delicate charm. Inspired by precious 18th-century accessories, this pouch makes an elegant gift that your guests will enjoy keeping long after the event.
The model was embroidered on DMC 11 threads/cm brick-colored linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This warm shade particularly highlights the motifs and refined finishes. This creation can also be made on Aida 5.5 stitches/cm fabric for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Design size: 39 × 35 stitches — approximately 7.1 × 6.4 cm on 11 threads/cm linen or 5.5 stitches/cm Aida. Ideal for decorating a sugared almond pouch or a small gift bag.
