Chart: Lavender on display, Cross Stitch Creation

An essential symbol of Provence, lavender fragrances gardens, colours landscapes, and has always inspired nature lovers. This elegant composition brings together different varieties of lavender, presented as in an embroidered botanical notebook, for a refined picture with Southern accents.

Designed by Création Point de Croix, this creation combines terracotta pots, freshly picked bouquets, scented sachets and botanical details in a charming setting. Shades of mauve, violet and green stand out harmoniously against the fabric, bringing out all the richness of this emblematic plant. Each variety is precisely identified, giving the work a truly decorative and botanical dimension.

The design was embroidered on linen fabric, worked on 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This fabric particularly highlights the many details of the foliage, floral spikes and containers that make up this magnificent picture.

This creation can also be made on a DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric embroidered on 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on a 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric to obtain slightly more generous dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work.

The charts are printed with symbols and colours (ref. DMC) on 6 pages.

Design size: 235 stitches wide × 190 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for embroidery on 11 threads/cm linen embroidered on 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on approximately 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric: 42.7 × 34.5 cm.
