Like a gourmet and colorful escape to the heart of Alsatian villages, this cross-stitch creation highlights all the charm and traditions of Alsace. Half-timbered houses, traditional costumes, golden pretzels, kougelhopf, the emblematic stork, and traditional motifs compose a warm scene inspired by the cultural riches of this authentic region. Between delicacies, folklore, and typical architecture, every detail evokes the convivial and timeless atmosphere of Alsatian festivities.
The model was embroidered on a light fabric to preserve the brightness of the colors and the fineness of the details.
To be embroidered on Aida fabric 5.5 or 7 stitches/cm, or on linen fabric 11 or 12 threads/cm. To enhance the traditional and refined spirit of the composition, choose white, light ecru, or natural linen fabric.
The chart is printed with symbols and colors (Ref: DMC) on 8 pages.
Design size: the chart measures approximately 140 stitches wide × 140 stitches high; if you embroider on 11-thread/cm linen, over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida, your embroidery will measure approximately 25.5 × 25.5 cm.
