Chestnut, oak, birch, walnut, maple or hornbeam… This embroidered herbarium pays tribute to the richness and diversity of our forests. Gathered on the same canvas, these delicately represented leaves form a true botanical collection that celebrates the colors and shapes of nature as autumn approaches.
Through its shades of soft greens, warm browns, and golden tones, this composition evokes forest walks and the simple pleasure of collecting the most beautiful leaves. Each species is carefully represented, in a spirit that is both naturalistic and decorative.
Presented on a pretty wooden support adorned with mesh compartments and green ribbons, the embroidery takes on the appearance of a true antique botanical plate. An elegant decoration that will naturally find its place in an entryway, an office, or a library.
The design was embroidered on DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric in B5200 white, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This creation can also be made on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Design size: 160 × 130 stitches — approximately 29.1 × 23.6 cm on 11 threads/cm linen or 5.5 pts/cm Aida. Ideal for an autumnal botanical picture to frame.
