What could be more delightful than a snack prepared with freshly picked fruits from the countryside? Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail have gathered to make a delicious blackberry cake from their day's harvest. Surrounded by baskets overflowing with fruit and generous nature, the three little bunnies are busy in a charming and gourmet scene.
Inspired by the enchanting world of Beatrix Potter, this creation evokes the simple pleasures of country life, walks along wild hedgerows, and snacks shared with family. The soft colours and numerous decorative details give the whole piece a warm and timeless atmosphere.
The design was embroidered on DMC natural 11-thread/cm linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This natural fabric adds a lot of softness to the work and particularly highlights the delicate shades of the characters and blackberries.
This creation can also be made on Aïda 5.5 stitches/cm fabric to achieve similar dimensions while making the embroidery work easier.
The charts are printed with symbols and colours (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Design size: 124 stitches wide × 127 stitches high — approximately 22.5 × 23.1 cm on 11-thread/cm linen or 5.5 stitches/cm Aïda fabric.
