Flowers hold a special place in interior design. Country bouquets, floral arrangements, or simple solitary flowers bring freshness, color, and poetry to the home. Inspired by the decorative trend of glass cloches that highlight the most beautiful objects, this creation transforms a delicate flower into a true treasure to contemplate throughout the seasons.
Designed by Création Point de Croix, this embroidery showcases an elegant flower in violet and mauve shades, depicted with all the finesse of ancient botanical illustrations. Its slender vertical format emphasizes the natural grace of the stem and petals, while its presentation under a cloche evokes curiosity cabinets and romantic decors of yesteryear. A charming design that will appeal to flower lovers and enthusiasts of refined works.
The design was embroidered on a white or beige 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric from DMC. This fabric particularly enhances the subtle gradations of the petals and accurately reproduces the many details of the pattern. The creation can also be made on a DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric, embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, to benefit from the authentic charm of linen.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: 68 stitches wide × 161 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for embroidery on an 11 threads/cm linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads or on a 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric: 12.4 × 29.3 cm.
This size is ideal for creating an elegant vertical picture, a decoration under a cloche, or a wall composition inspired by the botanical world. Delicate, romantic, and timeless, this embroidered flower will bring to your interior all the poetry of a bloom preserved forever.
