With their delicate petals and light silhouette, flax flowers immediately evoke the light-filled landscapes of Normandy. Although they come from an emblematic crop of this region, their simple and natural appearance gives them all the charm of wildflowers that line country roads. Gathered here in large embroidered bouquets, head-to-toe, they form an elegant textile decoration inspired by nature.
This creation highlights soft shades of blue, subtly combined with airy foliage that accentuates the delicacy of the whole. Presented as a table runner or adapted to the center of a tablecloth by spacing out the bouquets, this embroidery brings a rustic and refined atmosphere.
The pattern was embroidered on a DMC 11-thread/cm off-white linen fabric 3865, worked on 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This luminous fabric particularly highlights the bluish hues of the flowers. This creation can also be made on an Aïda 5.5 stitches/cm fabric for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: 120 × 261 stitches — approximately 21.8 × 47.5 cm on 11-thread/cm linen or 5.5 stitches/cm Aida. Ideal for a table runner or a hanging textile panel.
