Antique objects possess incomparable charm and tell a whole story by themselves. Among them, the traditional soup tureen holds a special place in kitchens of yesteryear, evoking family meals, large convivial tables, and recipes passed down from generation to generation. In this creation full of authenticity, it is adorned with delicately embroidered vegetables that further enhance its rustic and warm character.
Designed by Véronique Enginger and Création Point de Croix, this embroidery celebrates the world of traditional cuisine and beautiful country objects. The colorful vegetables elegantly adorn the soup tureen and bring a touch of freshness and gourmet appeal to the whole. Inspired by old decorated earthenware and family home kitchens, this pattern will appeal to lovers of country décor and timeless works.
The pattern was embroidered on DMC 11-thread/cm natural ecru linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This warm-toned fabric particularly enhances the natural shades of the vegetables and reinforces the authentic spirit of the composition.
This creation can also be made on an Aïda 5.5 stitches/cm fabric to obtain similar dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work, especially for beginners.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
