Chart: Everlasting Leaves Embroidered with Greenery, Cross Stitch Design

Inspired by these moments of contemplation, this creation highlights three refined plant motifs that capture all the beauty of nature through the seasons.

These delicately embroidered leaves evoke the wild grasses, young shoots, and branches that make up the simplest and most soothing garden settings. Their clean and naturalistic style integrates harmoniously into many decorative works, whether they are towels, pouches, notebooks, or textile accessories for the home.

The designs are made on an ivory 12-thread/cm linen canvas with the DMC Mouliné threads indicated in the chart. Each cross stitch is embroidered with a single strand of cotton on one thread of the fabric, offering a particularly fine and delicate finish. Details are then highlighted with backstitch using one strand, while French knots are executed with two strands to bring relief and naturalness to the whole.

This creation combines several embroidery techniques: cross stitch, half stitch, backstitch, and French knot. The combination of these different stitches subtly recreates the shades of green and the organic shapes of the plants depicted.
