All the poetry of winter scenes of yesteryear in cross stitch.
Inspired by the famous Toile de Jouy fabrics and their delicately illustrated designs, this elegant winter scene plunges us into the soft and nostalgic atmosphere of winters gone by. Skaters, children sledding, a snow-covered village, and tall fir trees make up a charming landscape, embroidered like an old engraving on a canvas in natural tones.
The white monochrome brings much finesse and refinement to the whole. Delicate silhouettes, botanical details, and snowy landscapes are lightly drawn on the natural grey canvas, creating a hushed and timeless atmosphere inspired by traditional mountain decor.
This elegant creation will find its perfect place in a chic and authentic winter decoration. Framed, placed on a console, or integrated into a refined Christmas decoration, it will bring a poetic and warm touch to your interior throughout the winter season.
The model was embroidered on a 12 threads/cm grey linen fabric from Zweigart. To be embroidered on an 11 or 12 threads/cm linen fabric, or on a 5.5 or 7 stitches/cm Aida fabric depending on the desired effect. To preserve all the elegance of the monochrome and the delicate spirit of the model, opt for a natural, beige, taupe, or light grey fabric.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
