Chart: Mosaic Spirit, Cross Stitch Design

Between tradition and modernity, the art of mosaic transcends eras without ever losing its elegance. Inspired by an ancient plate preserved in the DMC museum archives, this model revisits the geometric patterns that once adorned tablecloths, placemats, and decorative works. Rosettes, friezes, and colorful interlaces compose a refined ensemble where blue and red unite harmoniously.

Versatile, these patterns can be used to personalize household linen, embellish a tablecloth, decorate placemats, or even be framed as small decorative pictures. Their timeless style fits equally well into classic and contemporary decor.

The pattern was embroidered on a DMC linen fabric, 11 threads/cm, natural linen color 842, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This creation can also be made on a 12 threads/cm linen fabric or on Aida fabric 5.5 stitches/cm for similar dimensions.

The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC reference) on 6 pages.
