To mark the passing of the year, how about embroidering these adorable little Japanese dolls, the kokeshi? These dolls, which were originally wooden toys for little girls, are experiencing a real craze far beyond the land of the rising sun. Offering a Kokeshi is a sign of love and friendship. While all together they make an exquisite picture, you can also pick one or two and place them on a small bag, a pouch, or the pocket of your favorite blouse!
The design was embroidered on 7-count white DMC Aida fabric. To be embroidered on white or light-colored fabric.
The chart is printed with symbols and colors (Ref.: DMC) on 6 pages.
Design size: 75 stitches high x 165 stitches wide. On 11-count linen (2 warp threads and 2 weft threads) or 5.5-count Aida, the embroidery will measure approximately 13.63 x 30 cm.
