The Advent calendar is a tradition straight from Germany, designed to help children wait until Christmas Day. Originally, children discovered a new picture each day. These have been replaced by small gifts such as chocolates, tea bags or other surprises. This tradition is an opportunity to spend time with your family by creating your own calendar.
The models were embroidered on 11-thread count white linen fabric. To be embroidered on unbleached or coloured fabric.
The chart is printed with symbols and colours (Ref: DMC) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: 142 stitches high x 110 stitches wide. On 11-thread count linen (2 warp threads and 2 weft threads) or 5.5 stitches Aida, your embroidery will measure approximately: 20 x 25.81 cm.
