Retro as we like them, this charming creation comes from DMC's historical archives and plunges us into the tender and colorful world of the 1950s. With their pretty party dresses adorned with multicolored geometric patterns, these little girls seem to diligently rehearse a dance or an end-of-year show. A scene full of freshness and innocence that evokes happy childhood memories.
Inspired by old plates preserved in the DMC museum, this model highlights the decorative patterns that once adorned clothes, linen and everyday accessories. Both decorative and easy to integrate into many projects, this creation can be used to embellish linen, pouches, cushions or be presented as a small framed picture.
The model was embroidered on a DMC 11-thread/cm natural linen fabric 842, worked on 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This creation can also be made on a 12-thread/cm linen fabric or on an Aida 5.5-stitch/cm fabric for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (ref. DMC) on 6 pages.
