Although often associated with All Saints' Day, the chrysanthemum is above all a remarkable flower due to its richness of forms and the brilliance of its colors. In many countries, it symbolizes joy, longevity, and prosperity. Its delicately arranged petals in large corollas offer a luminous spectacle that brightens gardens when most other flowers have already disappeared.
This elegant embroidered composition highlights all the beauty of the chrysanthemum through a subtle interplay of shades and volumes. The petals seem to bloom naturally on the canvas, creating a refined floral work that will easily find its place in all decor styles.
The design was embroidered on DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric in B5200 white, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This luminous fabric particularly enhances the vibrant colors of the flower. This creation can also be made on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Design size: 106 × 108 stitches — approximately 19.3 × 19.6 cm on 11 threads/cm linen or 5.5 pts/cm Aida. Ideal for a floral picture to frame.
