At the heart of the French capital stands one of the most famous monuments in the world: Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. A masterpiece of Gothic architecture, it has fascinated for more than eight centuries with its monumental dimensions, its remarkable rose windows, and its countless sculpted details. A witness to French history, it has seen coronations, national celebrations, and major events that have shaped the country.
This cross-stitch creation pays homage to the timeless elegance of the cathedral. The delicacy of the architectural lines highlights Notre Dame's iconic silhouette, while the subtle nuances emphasize the richness of its heritage. An ideal embroidery for lovers of Paris, history, and the most beautiful French monuments.
Presented here on a decorative storage box, this design can also be framed or adapted to numerous textile projects to bring a refined Parisian touch to your home.
The design was embroidered on a 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric, color 168 from DMC. This material accurately reproduces the many architectural details of the cathedral while offering great embroidery comfort. You can also create this design on an 11-thread/cm linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. The resulting dimensions will be identical. Ecru, natural, or pearl grey fabrics will particularly highlight the noble and timeless character of this Gothic architecture.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC reference) on 6 pages.
