The most beautiful kitchens are often those where everyday objects become genuine decorative elements. Carefully hung utensils, braided garlic bulbs, antique dishcloths, and neatly arranged small accessories create a warm atmosphere reminiscent of kitchens of yesteryear. This elegant embroidery pays homage to these simple details that make country homes so charming.
Designed by Véronique Enginger and Création Point de Croix, this creation features a pretty shelf adorned with kitchen utensils, garlic bulbs, and small decorative accessories. A few lace and ribbon details enrich the composition and add a refined touch. Inspired by family kitchens where every object naturally finds its place, this design will appeal to lovers of art de vivre and authentic decoration.
The design was embroidered on a dishcloth specially designed for embroidery. Both decorative and functional, this medium transforms a simple kitchen linen into an elegant accessory that will naturally find its place in the home.
This creation can also be made on a DMC 11 threads/cm linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp and 2 weft threads or on an Aida 5.5 stitches/cm fabric to be framed or adapted to other decorative projects.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Design size: 91 stitches wide × 160 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for embroidery on 11 threads/cm linen embroidered over 2 warp and 2 weft threads, or on Aida 5.5 stitches/cm fabric approximately: 16.5 × 29.1 cm.
