Chart: Spring Bulbs, Cross Stitch Design

When the first rays of sun warm the gardens, spring bulbs awaken and offer their colorful blooms. Elegant tulips, luminous daffodils, fragrant hyacinths, and delicate crocuses take their place in pretty bottles and antique glasses to compose a fresh and poetic scene.

Conceived by Création Point de Croix and Monique Bonnin, this creation celebrates the renewal of nature through a delicate composition with botanical accents. The transparency of the glass containers highlights the roots and bulbs, while the flowers display their soft colors on the azure blue fabric. The ensemble evokes the first plantings of the season and the simple joy of seeing the promises of spring blossom.

The design was embroidered on 12 threads/cm azure blue linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This luminous fabric creates an elegant contrast with the flowers and accentuates the delicate details of the glassware.

This creation can also be made on 11 threads/cm DMC linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric to obtain slightly more generous dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work.

The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.

Pattern size: 129 stitches wide × 160 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for embroidery on 11 threads/cm linen embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on approximately 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric: 23.5 × 29.1 cm.
