Chart: Bowl of cherries, Cross Stitch Design

Sun-drenched and delicious, cherries joyfully announce the arrival of warmer days. Gathered in an elegant porcelain bowl and accompanied by delicate wild daisies, they compose a fresh and bright scene that evokes summer harvests and desserts of yesteryear.

Designed by Création Point de Croix, this creation combines the charm of garden fruits with the delicacy of wildflowers. The vibrant reds of the cherries harmoniously contrast with the whites of the daisies and the tender greens of the foliage, while the decorated bowl adds a refined touch to the whole. The work evokes beautiful old still lifes and memories of summers spent in the orchard.

The design was embroidered on a light linen fabric worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. The numerous gradients help reproduce the brilliance of the fruits, the fineness of the petals, and the light effects on the porcelain.

This design can also be created on a DMC 11-thread/cm linen fabric, embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on a 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric, to achieve similar dimensions while making the embroidery work easier.

The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC reference) on 6 pages.

Design size: 145 stitches wide × 120 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for embroidery on 11-thread/cm linen embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on approximately 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric: 26.4 × 21.8 cm.
