Chart: Around the Chicken Coop, Cross Stitch Creation

A red hen, freshly laid eggs and a curious chick make up this sweet country scene. A creation inspired by farm life that will bring an authentic and warm touch to the kitchen, while celebrating the simple pleasures of the land.

The design is presented on an 11-thread/cm unbleached linen canvas, stitched over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, whose natural shade perfectly highlights the warm hues of the plumage, eggs and farm elements. It can also be made on a 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric to obtain similar dimensions while facilitating the embroidery work.

Main apron design (hen, eggs and chick): approximately 110 stitches wide × 90 stitches high, or approximately 20 × 16.5 cm on 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric or on 11-thread/cm linen fabric stitched over 2 threads.

Potholder design (hen and egg): approximately 55 stitches wide × 55 stitches high, or approximately 10 × 10 cm on 5.5-stitch/cm Aida fabric or on 11-thread/cm linen fabric stitched over 2 threads.
