Welcome to the delicate world of old-fashioned sewing workshops, where antique bobbins, carefully arranged ribbons, vintage buttons, and haberdashery accessories tell the story of skilled hands that created, repaired, and embellished everyday linen. This original creation transforms a simple box into a charming and nostalgic miniature scene.
Conceived as a small dressmaker's workshop, this piece combines several embroideries representing essential sewing items: scissors, tape measure, thread spools, and haberdashery accessories are arranged in a particularly decorative relief composition. Antique fabrics, miniature hangers, and small collectibles enrich the ensemble to create a unique decoration inspired by haberdasheries of yesteryear.
The patterns were embroidered on DMC 11-thread/cm linen canvas in ivory 3865, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This creation can also be made on 12-thread/cm linen canvas or 5.5-stitch/cm Aïda canvas for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC reference) on 6 pages.
