With its elegant umbels made up of dozens of small star-shaped flowers, agapanthus is one of the undisputed queens of summer gardens. Its graphic silhouette and spectacular flowering bring lightness and refinement to beds, terraces, and balconies.
Inspired by antique botanical plates, this composition highlights the delicate structure of the inflorescence as well as the subtle shades of blue, mauve, and green that characterize agapanthus. The meticulously worked details give the whole a great finesse and give the impression of a naturalistic illustration made with a needle.
The model was embroidered on DMC 11 threads/cm off-white linen fabric 3865, worked on 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This luminous fabric particularly enhances the fresh hues of the flower. This creation can also be made on an Aida 5.5 stitches/cm fabric for similar dimensions.
The charts are printed with symbols and colors (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.
Pattern size: 105 × 105 stitches — approximately 19.1 × 19.1 cm on 11-thread/cm linen or 5.5-stitch/cm Aida. Ideal for a botanical picture to frame.
