Chart: Roseraie Alphabet, Cross Stitch Design

Roses have always inspired embroiderers. A symbol of delicacy, romance, and elegance, they transcend trends without ever losing their charm. In this fresh alphabet book, small summer roses bloom around the letters of the alphabet, forming a miniature garden where nature harmoniously blends with the art of embroidery.

Designed by Création Point de Croix, this creation combines an elegant alphabet with a collection of motifs inspired by the world of old rose gardens. Blooming roses, trimmed shrubs, garden baskets, and delicate floral borders are arranged around the letters in a balanced and poetic composition. The overall effect evokes romantic gardens where roses bloom generously throughout the summer.

The pattern was embroidered on light linen fabric, worked over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads. This medium particularly highlights the many floral shades as well as the finesse of the letters and small decorative motifs that make up the piece.

This design can also be made on 11-thread/cm DMC linen fabric embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric, to obtain a project that is easy to create while retaining all the charm of the details and colours.

The charts are printed with symbols and colours (DMC ref.) on 6 pages.

Pattern size: approximately 230 stitches wide × 180 stitches high. Dimensions calculated for embroidery on 11-thread/cm linen embroidered over 2 warp threads and 2 weft threads, or on approximately 5.5 stitches/cm Aida fabric: 41.8 × 32.7 cm.
